These terms apply when you use secspotter.com (“SECspotter”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use SECspotter.

What SECspotter is

SECspotter shows information from public filings made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, such as Form 13F holdings. It is an informational resource. It does not provide financial or investment advice, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.

Figures come from public filings and may contain errors, whether made by the filer or introduced in processing, and some values are estimated. All information is provided as is, without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Verify any figure against the original filing before relying on it.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 to create an account.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password private, and don’t use one you use on other sites. Keep your email account secure too, because anyone who can read your email can reset your password. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

Early access

Accounts are free during early access, with favorites and alert emails. There are no paid plans yet. Before any paid plan starts, we will update these terms and email account holders at least two weeks ahead.

Using the site fairly

Please don’t:

• try to break, overload or get around the site’s security or limits;
• copy the site’s data in bulk with automated tools, or resell it;
• share your account with other people;
• use the site to break the law or to harm others.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Content and ownership

Filings made with the SEC are public. The site itself, including its design, code, text, compilation of data and the SECspotter name, belongs to us. CUSIP® is a registered trademark of the American Bankers Association.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

SECspotter is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from decisions made using information on the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may change SECspotter or these terms. If a change to these terms is significant, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
